Winyates Ward on Redditch Borough Council is represented by three councillors, one of each of the main parties. Councillor Malcolm Hall was the Liberal Democrat representative for Winyates on Redditch Borough Council from 2004 to 2012. Malcolm fronts the non-partisan Arts Centre Steering Group for Redditch, set up following the closure of the Reddicentre in Winyates district centre. Malcolm is also a governor at the local first school, Tenacres.
