Why register to vote?

The electoral register is the official list of everyone that is registered to vote.

Many other organisations also use this register as ‘proof of address’, including credit agencies and banks when issuing credit cards, offering mortgages or opening accounts. Not appearing on the Electoral Register can also make it more difficult for you to get some official documentation.

You can download a form below to get on the electoral register for Redditch.

You do not have to vote if you are on the electoral register, but it does give you a voice in our town.
